The owner and receptionist were kind and helpful, and they can bring breakfast to your room. The rooms do need some repairs, though. One good thing about this hotel is its downtown location.

Shameful! We booked a room for four for New Year’s Eve at €145. When we arrived, the receptionist told us the hotel was full but that they’d set up a temporary room for us. We ended up in the back room of what felt like a souk: camp beds, broken toilets, a shower right on the floor, children’s clothes all over the room, and a smell of garlic. Avoid it, especially at that price!

The owner was kind enough to give us a bottle of cold water in the middle of summer, and that’s the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars. It was scorching hot, with no air conditioning, and the small rooms were dirty. The sheets had drops of blood. The bathroom... never mind. In general, every hotel under 4 stars in France is awful, and this place doesn’t change my mind.

They even let us check out two hours later the next morning, so we could really recharge, haha. The welcome was warm and they were very accommodating. The rooms were decent, and the value for money was excellent. A handy hotel for a weekend away with friends or family. I highly recommend it. Sincerely, La jeunesse Lyonnaise
