The room and bathroom were both spacious, and having coffee at the desk was handy. The safe came in useful, though the area seemed quite safe anyway. During our stay there was plenty of parking, perhaps because it was a quiet weekend. The hotel is in a residential area, so it was peaceful. Staff were friendlier and more helpful than at other three- or four-star places. With the discount that week, the price was low, and the hotel was much better than I expected.

It’s a quiet neighbourhood, about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean. I liked the breakfast, though I think it could have offered a little more variety.

The breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, even if they weren’t luxurious. It’s only a short walk to the old town. We were seven Canadians in Montpellier for four days before a barge cruise, and the family-run hotel made us feel like part of the family. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and no request was too big or small. Most of them speak English. A wonderful place, and I strongly recommend considering it for a visit to Montpellier.

We were lucky to find this place at the last minute. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms were small but comfortable, with everything we needed. The bed was a bit firm, but the price was very fair. It’s a beautiful hotel, just a five-minute walk from the city centre. I’d recommend it if you’re in Montpellier.

The night shift lady, Joan (I hope I’ve got her name right), went above and beyond. She helped us get reservations and find the best restaurants in Montpelier, on top of giving us wonderful service. And when I needed something from the pharmacy, the owner sent Cecilia, one of their amazing employees, along with my wife and me to make sure we got what we needed. They really are like family. We’re so impressed by the customer service at this wonderful hotel. THANK YOU, Ulysse family.
