The owner and the neighboring restaurant 'la grand casa' had a lovely community spirit, and the restaurant's Mediterranean food was amazing. The hotel itself wasn't great, though our stay was okay overall. The room smelled, the bathroom was dirty, and when we arrived the roof was leaking and rain had left our bed wet. Nobody offered any compensation or rebate. I wouldn't stay here again.

The rooms are basic and only sort of clean. The hotel is across from a run-down cinema where people squat through the night, playing music and setting off fireworks. Seriously.

For the price, it’s hard to want much more: the location is good, the staff are friendly, and there’s great Wi-Fi and air conditioning.

The city center location is the one redeeming thing. The room was filthy, with the previous guest’s trash still there, torn curtains, a burnt carpet, and furniture that looked badly chopped up. It felt like the neighbors were in the room with me. Breakfast wasn’t available unless you ordered it the day before. Absolutely awful.

The only upside is being near Place de la Comédie, though it’s noisy there. I already wrote this once and it disappeared, so here I am rewriting it: the bathroom is filthy, barely 2 square meters, and, no exaggeration, somehow even has a toilet.
