The furniture in the rooms looked much older than it did in the pictures. When I went to bed, I pulled back the blanket and found lots of hair on the sheets, so it seemed the sheets and blankets hadn’t been changed. I called reception, and they were considerate and brought fresh sheets for me to change myself. I used to work in a hotel, and the bed cleaning protocol there was to change all the sheets. I asked for the room to be cleaned again while I was out on a day trip. When I returned, the floor still hadn’t been swept. I’d left the sheets and towels down as a sign they needed changing, but they were left alone. They’d only made the bed and cleaned the trash can and service.

The front desk clerk Graziella was especially helpful and friendly, and speaks several languages. The hotel is very central, a short walk from the Palais du Papes. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size, and breakfast was good. I’d gladly stay again and recommend it to friends.

The staff were very helpful, and the village center is only a few minutes away on foot. But the rooms are old and smelly. We couldn’t stay in the first one because of a bad toilet odor, and the second smelled of cigarettes. The garage also costs extra.
