Great value for the money. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, between the train station and Place de la Comédie. The classic features have been decorated with style, imagination, and a sense of humor.

It’s right in the center, close to everything and especially the historic center. The rooms were very clean, the service was excellent, and the staff treated us warmly. I want to thank them for all their attention. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰

On our first visit to Hotel Royal, the ground-floor room was exceptional. This second stay, in a room on the second floor, had several issues: the air conditioning didn’t work, the faulty toilet door was hard to move and made enough noise to wake the dead, and the shower door kept coming off its rail.

The complimentary afternoon tea was a real treat and made the stay feel special. We liked the boutique hotel’s vibe and found the location convenient. I would have given the room five stars, but the pillowcases unfortunately smelled damp or sweaty. Hopefully that gets sorted for future guests. Thanks for the experience.

We had a big, clean family room and the air conditioning worked. The breakfast was really good, and it’s a very nice hotel. Getting there by car was difficult, though, and we had to carry our luggage a couple of blocks. I can recommend the Saint-Roch parking garage, where the hotel also gives you a discount.
