The next cheapest hotel would’ve cost me three or four times as much, so this is great value. It’s simple but clean and easy to get to by metro. A good option if you’re watching your budget and want your own room for only a little more than a dorm bed.

The staff are all really friendly, and the night porter means you can get in at any hour. It’s a quiet hotel near Montreuil Town Hall and the metro station with the same name. The rooms are basic but clean, with a private shower and toilet, and you reach them by stairs from the inner courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the value is still very good. It’s a shame there’s no air conditioning or even a fan, especially in this heat. 👍

Breakfast was brought to my room, and the room itself was simple but pleasant. The problem was the noise: the building is poorly soundproofed, so I could hear neighbors on the stairs, coming into their rooms, and talking. On top of that, a staff member who lives there shouted in the hall with her friends late at night after her shift. That felt very disrespectful to the guests.

The hotel doesn’t look like much from outside, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It’s five minutes from the metro, the welcome was nice, and breakfast was filling and served in the room. The rooms are simple and the bed was comfortable. It stays quiet from 11:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. My only complaint is the bathroom, where the shower head has no holder.
