Chalet Soleil d'Or

The food was exquisite, with some of the best dishes we’ve ever had. Our daughter could eat around 5:30 or 6 to stay on her schedule, then the adults ate after she was in bed. Traveling with a toddler was much easier because the team arranged transfers, ski hire and passes, and drove us to and from the slopes with our gear at times that worked around the baby’s nap. When I lost my lift pass, I messaged them on WhatsApp and they quickly arranged with the driver for me to pick up a replacement. The chalet was beautifully furnished with lovely views, and every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and ready to help. We had a wonderful holiday with alikats and will be back.

We swam at Lac Montriond every day, and the chalet was also ideally placed for reaching the lifts. It worked brilliantly for our multigenerational group, with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom for the grandparents and plenty of space upstairs for us and the kids. Becca and the team were welcoming and arranged multipasses and shopping ahead of time, so arriving after traveling with young children was easy. Flexible twin or double rooms, bed guards, travel cots, and shutters that kept the rooms dark made bedtime much simpler. We had a great summer holiday.

Kate kept bringing out wonderful food night after night, and Kyle’s eggs Florentine were unforgettable. Dan, Rob, Vinny and Louis drove us everywhere, even when we were a couple of minutes late after sleeping in. We had a gorgeous chalet for a week this winter and were delighted at every turn. Can’t recommend the chalet and catered stay enough. Looking forward to coming back next season.

The beds were comfortable, there are four bathrooms, and the chalet has everything you need. It’s gorgeous and in a great location. The AliKats team were always available to answer questions and get information back to us quickly. We had a great stay and hope to return.
