The kitchen team and other staff were lovely and always tried to help. I felt bad that they had to work with that manager. The rooms themselves were okay, but the shower had no door and made a mess. There were lots of spider webs outside our window, with plenty of little arachnid friends to see, lol. You don’t get a keycard for the room, just a code you have to remember or photograph on your phone. The air conditioning was okay. The street felt lonely, with litter and graffiti everywhere. I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this stay was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. The power was out for 12 hours straight, and with the elevators down we had to climb seven floors around six or seven times. We’d paid for breakfast for the whole stay. On the day without power, they gave breakfast free to guests who hadn’t paid, which was a good way to compensate them. But they promised compensation to those of us who had already paid. When I asked at the front desk, manager Stephanie Talon, in a bad mood, threw her contact card at me and asked me to email her my “B Bank.” I said I didn’t know what a B Bank was but could give her my bank account number. She laughed and said, “yes that, do you even speak english?” I hadn’t expected that from a hotel manager. She said it after hearing me speak Spanish with my wife, so I’m not sure if the older woman is racist toward Latin people or was just in a bad mood that day. She never sent compensation. The manager later replied asking me to email her again. I’d already emailed four times, and still got no compensation.

We had a lovely five-night stay across May and June of 2025. Our room was compact, and the breakfast had a very good spread. The staff were friendly and humble, and the neighborhood was really nice, with lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The view was the highlight: from our window we could see the Eiffel Tower and the beautiful Paris skyline.

For my birthday trip to Paris, we spent one night at this lovely B&B hotel. We could leave our luggage after checkout, which let us enjoy the last part of the day without a hassle. The room had both air conditioning and heating and was just right for what we needed. We added breakfast; it wasn’t a huge selection, but it was enough to get the day started. The hotel is a little outside the main tourist areas, in a pleasant neighborhood, and the rates were more affordable than in the heart of Paris. A metro station nearby made it easy to explore, and we could get to the iconic sights quickly. It was a great balance for our trip, and a lovely way to celebrate my birthday. I’d happily return.

It’s a short walk to the bus stops and metro, so public transport was convenient. The room was quiet, comfortable, and nicely decorated. I didn’t like that the shower had no door, and one of the staff, a man with glasses, was rude, though some of the others were nice.

I liked the spacious room, its modern look, the view that included the Eiffel Tower, and how comfortable the bed and sheets were. The shower was only half enclosed, so water sprayed across the rest of the bathroom. Its shower head was broken, but the front desk fixed it right away after we reported it. They never apologized for the problem.
