Chalet Perdrix by Skinetworks

It’s a beautiful chalet in a very good location, but it’s clearly mismanaged. When we arrived at the scheduled time of 5 pm, cleaning hadn’t even started and was then rushed. Above the sofa, there were six large holes where a picture frame was missing, left that way for 15 days despite complaints. Five bulbs were out, and we ended up replacing them ourselves, one at a time. One bedroom had no linens or hangers. The kitchen was badly equipped for 12 people: 10 forks, exactly 12 of each other piece of cutlery, no teapot, colander, or paring knife, too few dishes and too-small ones, and nothing to blend soup. There were no mattress protectors or pillowcases. My mattress was stained and dirty, the sink in my room was cracked, the bathrooms had no shelves or hooks, and one toilet seat was cracked. Wi-Fi barely worked in the living room and was unusable in the bedrooms. There was no hairdryer when we arrived, though we got one after asking. An iron and ironing board weren’t provided. The chalet manager was doing her best, but she’d only been there a few days, was overwhelmed, and clearly didn’t have enough support to handle the problems we reported. Lovely building, but the management and amenities don’t meet four-star standards.

Catherine and Éric were welcoming and attentive, and we could reach them anytime with questions about the rental. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend them and hope we can come back.
