La Pause Verdoyante

We felt at home in every room, and the tasteful decor made the cottage a pleasure to stay in. It had the comfort, amenities, and quality of accommodation we were hoping for. Many thanks for the warm welcome. We’d happily recommend this rental in any season.

The children were delighted with the games in the trunk, and the air conditioning was much appreciated in the hot weather. We stayed busy with the butcher shop, restaurants, and outings nearby, though there’s still plenty left for another visit. The cottage itself is modern, well equipped, quiet, and well located, which made for a genuinely relaxing stay. Thanks again!

We stayed from late October into early November and came away feeling completely refreshed, as if we’d had a change of scenery. The terrace was fantastic, and the gîte was spotless. Marion and Annabelle were lovely and welcoming, and clearly care a lot about making guests comfortable. From the renovation and decor to the small details, the place feels designed to make you feel at home. The kitchen was especially well equipped for cooking proper meals, and the living area was very comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom made it easy to unwind, too. Everything had been thought through, and the decor suited the gîte perfectly. We’d love to come back. Thanks to Marion, Annabelle, and their partners! Héloïse and François

I spent several weeks at the gîte during the winter of 2021/22, and enjoyed every day there. The apartment’s creative architecture and design go hand in hand with its comfort. It was clean, well furnished, and the owners were helpful and accommodating. My many guests and I felt at ease right away. The setting is wonderfully quiet. From the large, sunny balcony, you look over the flower meadow toward the opposite slope and forest. We sometimes spotted deer, foxes, and even a wild boar. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope if you have one, or night vision equipment. I highly recommend the gîte!
