4/10
The house itself is pleasant, with four bathrooms, and the landscaped outdoor area is nice, though the weather meant we couldn't enjoy it. But the value for money didn't meet expectations, especially as no cleaning products were provided despite that being expected. The place is run-down, with very dirty floors and lots of dust. The kitchen is missing some amenities, and the toilet opens straight into it, which means little privacy. There's nowhere to put things in the bathrooms, and no coat racks or hooks. One bedroom has a skylight but no blinds or blackout shutters, and some windows don't close properly. In another room, the old, badly damaged box spring slopes so much that two people can't sleep on it. The noisy springs hurt your back, so you have to put the mattress on the floor. At this price, I'd expect better.

What a welcoming, beautiful house, though be prepared for lots of stairs.
