Right beside the train station, and reasonably cheap for June.

A small, friendly hotel and bar, just a few steps from the station.

They’re genuinely considerate and make room for cyclists.

For a budget stay, this is a very good hotel. The rooms are big and clean, and it’s very close to the train station. It’s a one-star place, so don’t expect luxury. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff were welcoming and flexible about arrival times. The hotel was very clean, with plenty of housekeeping and towels, and it’s well placed for both the train station and city centre. Excellent value for the price. One suggestion: it’d be nice if the bar opened half an hour earlier in the morning for breakfast, or even just a coffee.
