Finding a B&B nearby was proving impossible, and I wanted to be able to head straight to the lavender fields in Sault the next morning. Another place that was full pointed me to Au Brabo in Mormoiron. I arrived at dinner time just as Dominique and Rene were finishing their meal with the other guests, but they still welcomed me in, handed me an old key, showed me a big room, and invited me to join them in the garden when I was ready. I felt at home right away in their magnificent 300-year-old house. It turned into a warm, lovely one-night adventure. A wonderful stop for taking in the French countryside on a trip through Provence.

The room was spacious and quiet, and breakfast gave me a generous start before heading up Mt Ventoux. The owner, Veronique, welcomed me warmly, and they had a safe place for my bike in the lovely garden. They also have a cat named Yoda! I'd be very happy to come back.

The garden was lovely, with a small pool that was just right for cooling off. Our hosts were charming and very helpful, and breakfast came with delicious homemade jam. No complaints at all!
