Relais du Temple

Such a peaceful place, just right if you want some quiet. The cottage has three bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and is really well equipped. There’s a 10m x 5m swimming pool across the road. The hosts were incredible, always around when we needed them without hovering. Their thoughtful touches went beyond what we expected. Authentic, genuine, and good.

We booked the cottage for New Year's Day and it felt magical. The place has its own character, with decor I found stunning, and all the comforts you could ask for, plus more. The owners were lovely and attentive, and always glad to tell us stories about their hamlet. A place to remember. We’ll very likely come back.

We had such a lovely week. The kids, and honestly us too, especially loved the superb swimming pool and the horse-drawn carriage ride. Thanks for the warm welcome and all your kindness. The house was lovely and really comfortable, and we had a peaceful week. We enjoyed the large swimming pool and a nice horse-drawn carriage ride. For outings, there are treetop adventure courses and orienteering at Acropole in Comps, plus a great visit to the beehives of the world, also in Comps. Bourdeaux has a lovely market on Thursdays. We didn’t think the tourist office treasure hunt was worth going out for, especially in the heat.
