The food was the part we’ll remember most. We love eating out on holiday, but dinner here beat every lunch we had in the resort, and we never wanted to skip it. There was a nice range of wine at good prices, and Frank, our waiter, was brilliant. We loved seeing him each evening. We’ll miss the hotel, and sweet Orton the dog. The spa was a 10/10, well maintained and just what our tired bodies needed after snowboarding. The outdoor sauna was especially nice, followed by a rub down with the snow. The hotel feels quiet and peaceful, though it’s only a short walk to town and away from some of the busier Pleney spots. Everything is finished to a high standard. The bar and fireplace made it our coziest place in Morzine. Our room was small but worked perfectly for us, though coffee-making facilities in the room would have been ideal.

We came with our dog, and the welcome was so warm. There’s a lovely grassy area at the back for walks, and the hotel’s own dog and cat are a bonus if you’re an animal lover. We were a couple, though we saw plenty of families too. This is a great ski holiday base, right in central Morzine but still quiet. The beds were great and the food was top quality every day. The family who own the hotel put so much love into it, and that comes through in the modern, traditional decor and the little details. We had starry lights above the bed at night, our own dinner table for the week, and sparkling wine on the house on the final evening. It’s one of those places we’d gladly stay at again.

A real gem. This beautiful, cozy hotel has been in the same family for generations, and you can feel how much love they put into it. The hosts are kind and pleasant, and the views are a breath of fresh air. We couldn’t return last year, but we’re definitely going this year and really looking forward to it. Breakfast and dinner are both very good. You can also grab a bite at the bar and enjoy the lovely atmosphere. The spa room is lovely, and the heated pool is a plus.

one of the best places i’ve ever stayed. everyone was so friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English. the spa is beautiful and really relaxing, a great extra to have. the food was fantastic, and even though it’s a set menu, every dish was amazing. the hotel dog was the cutest and made my stay even better. i loved it here and can’t recommend it enough!
