Domaine les Cigales

We were nine family members of different ages, and the house suited us perfectly. It was clean, spacious, and well looked after. The hosts were kind and accommodating, checked in on us, and shared local suggestions. The pool was just the right temperature, and the hot tub was great for relaxing. There were plenty of towels and the showers had lots of hot water. We cooked often in the outdoor kitchen, which had everything we needed. The town, with grocery shops and restaurants, is only minutes away, and the location was handy for driving to different places. It’s a lovely option for a holiday, retreat, or golf trip. We’d definitely recommend it and would book directly next time instead of using a booking platform.

Having the villa feel private was a real pleasure, and the hosts were very friendly. They suggested good places to see and restaurants to try. We spent three nights and four days at the Bed and Breakfast, and it turned out to be a great choice. We’d first booked a nearby hotel, but it felt industrial and we wanted something more typical of the region. The property is large and sits on a quiet, safe hillside near a golf club, with parking right outside. Our little bungalow had its own bathroom and a tastefully decorated bedroom. The shower was amazing, and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi and a lovely breakfast. We’ll definitely come back. Places we especially recommend seeing are the Friday farmers market in Valbonne, the beach in Antibes, and the old village of Saint Paul en Vence.

The owners were so thoughtful and kind, and the setting is beautiful. My room was just right and had everything I needed. Breakfast was generous, with juice made from their own oranges. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

We only planned on one night at Domaine des Cigales, but the calm atmosphere made us extend our stay. The rooms are spacious and look out over the pool, and the amenities are excellent. We were welcomed warmly and had a generous, tasty homemade breakfast beside the pool. Thanks to our hosts for being so welcoming and for all the useful tips. We highly recommend it and will be back.
