At the end of our busy days at the MIPIM expo, our team found ourselves saying, “Let’s go home,” instead of heading back to a hotel. That says a lot about how Frank and the team made us feel during our first trip to Cannes for the event, where we were representing the New Tashkent urban development project. We had a late arrival one evening and a key that didn’t work. Frank came out in the rain and sorted it within ten minutes. The morning bonjours and good wishes as we left for the expo added to the friendly, almost family-run bed-and-breakfast feel. It made a demanding week of commutes and pavilion duties much easier, and I’m grateful we had such a comfortable place to stay. I didn’t pay much attention to any shortcomings, and of course no place is perfect.

A quiet, cute spot that made it easy to get to Cannes without staying in the city itself. There are some shops and restaurants you can walk to. The air conditioning could have been stronger during our midsummer visit, and the bar menu felt a bit limited. Still, for a week or two you could stock the fridge, and we had a very pleasant stay.

Our car trouble in Italy meant we didn’t reach the hotel until almost 11 at night, but the staff were wonderful. They helped us get in after hours, sort out how we’d get home, and wait in the lobby for a rental car, and they gave us a little extra time before checkout. We also enjoyed the pool and excellent breakfast. The price for what you get is hard to beat, and we’ll come back.

The parking was good, free, and even had a charging station for electric cars. The building looks really nice from outside, and the pool was fine. But the room was in such bad shape that I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
