5 Lasserre

Breakfast was a little work of art, and we lingered over it with that beautiful view. We only had a few days in France and chose to spend them at 5 Lasserre. There was such a sense of peace and beauty that it felt like time had stopped. The owners are so warm and genuine, you want them around. We really recommend it if you're after somewhere beautiful.

We loved all three days here. It felt like an oasis of calm, and the room was superb. The hosts were attentive but never intrusive, and the food was good. The location suited us perfectly for driving out along little vineyard roads and getting lost for a while. We highly recommend the place and will definitely come back.

Breakfast had a generous spread, from fruit, meats and juices to cakes and bread. Valentino and Enrico were so kind, thoughtful and friendly, and looked after us wonderfully. We also had Venetian aperitifs and crostini on the terrace in the last warmth of the day, followed by a delicious dinner cooked by our hosts. The house is gorgeous and stylish, but still feels relaxed. It sits in a big garden, with an infinity pool looking over vineyards and a roof terrace with an even wider view. Our large bedroom was warm and comfortable, beautifully put together, and the bathroom was lovely, especially the shower. The hosts and setting made it feel like heaven on earth. I'd absolutely recommend a visit and supper at the house.

The resort is beautiful and has that far away from everything feeling. Valentino and the staff made our stay incredible, and both the service and the rooms were top notch. We'd definitely return.
