We ended our stay with a lovely massage from Emily before heading back to the UK. The Circus-themed room and the magical garden trail made it feel like we had stepped into Sebastian and William's quirky, calm world, and time in the spa rounded out the experience. William and Sebastien are such caring hosts, and as artists they always seem ready with another experience or surprise. They’re also incredible cooks, honestly hard to describe. There’s so much sparkle and thoughtful care here, along with a real chance to rest and relax. Stay more than one night if you can, or you simply won’t see it all.

Everywhere we looked, there were interesting objects, lovely colours and little stories to notice. The room and facilities were sublime, and the hosts welcomed us with such charm that it felt like a warm embrace. Dinner and breakfast were very nice too. We had an amazing time at this cosy, inspiring guest house, and the personal touch felt magical. We’d love to come back in Autumn for the performances held daily.

We stayed in "The Legends" room, filled with impressions from their lives, and it left us curious about the spectacles they organise in winter. So we’ll be back to experience that mystery. Sebastien is a great cook, and his "blanquette de veau" was delicious. We visited in April, and passing through the red gate brought a rush of quiet, peace, nature and relaxation. A really lovely experience.
