Marielle was attentive and had good advice for us. The chalet is very comfortable, well equipped, and just a short walk from Lake Chambon, in the heart of the Sancy mountains. There are plenty of walks and hikes nearby.

The nearby landscape is gorgeous, and there are lovely nature walks just minutes away. I was welcomed warmly into a calm, peaceful place where I could properly switch off from life in Paris. I’m grateful to the owner and hope to come back, enjoy the same conditions, and explore more of this magical region.

The welcome was warm, simple, and so human. I loved discovering a place where the lake, the volcanoes, the clean Auvergne air, and the land of my ancestors all became part of my stay. Thank you, Marielle. It’s a magnificent spot.

Being so close to the lake was a real bonus. We enjoyed morning walks and a hike around it in a beautiful setting. Marielle was welcoming and available throughout our stay, and the chalet was comfortable, perfectly equipped, and let us be completely independent. A big thank you. We’d gladly come back and recommend the place.

I’ve been to Chalet de Marielle in winter and summer. It’s a lovely, cozy place, and Marielle is so attentive. The region is beautiful and has something for everyone. Highly recommend it.
