Nemea Appart Hotel Home Suite Nancy Centre

It's a good location, about a 10-minute walk from the city center. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, and I found dirty forks and spoons at breakfast. Apart from that, breakfast was quite good.

There was no heating, the Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and the room was dirty. Breakfast wasn't good either.

The receptionist was friendly, but didn't seem to know much. On arrival, we got very little information. The room key had a label with a code for the side door on the back, but no one explained what it was for. The car park wasn't free, and we had to pay. Reception closed in the afternoon, which wouldn't have mattered if someone had explained the code. At night, the side access door was locked too, so if you went out and came back late, you could find yourself locked out with nobody to call. We left early and had to leave the room keys and car park remote outside the front door because reception was shut and the side door was locked. The Wi-Fi kept dropping and was a nightmare to reconnect to. The beds were very low. I asked for a disability suite with grab rails by the shower and toilet, but there wasn't space on either side of the bed for an able-bodied person, let alone someone with a disability, and the bed was so low. I booked partly because of the pool, but it was closed. All in all, it wasn't a great experience.

The rooms were clean, and we had a good stay in the end. Still, the pool wasn't working, the lift was out of order, and parking badges weren't available. It was our summer vacation and we had lots of bags, so carrying everything up the stairs was a bit of a struggle.
