Residhome Appart Hotel Nancy Lorraine

The room was a bit worn, but clean, spacious, and good value. The woman at the front desk was so kind and went out of her way to help us several times, speaking with us in French and English. Breakfast was pretty decent too.

Everything was clean, and the service was excellent, friendly, and informative. It's simple and does what it says. Breakfast had enough options for two teenagers, a vegetarian, and a meat eater.

We didn't use the paid parking garage. Instead, we parked for free on the fairly quiet street right below our room. The place is about a 20-minute walk from the city centre. It's more like studios than a regular hotel, with kitchenettes, and the room, kitchenette, and bathroom were all very clean. Breakfast is available by the reception if you want it. The downside is the heat: there's no air conditioning, and the rooms get really hot, really fast. On weekdays the neighborhood can also be noisy in the evenings. It didn't bother us much, but might annoy anyone looking for a quiet place.

The staff were good, but I had several problems. My washing came back much smaller, and I also lost items during my stay. The hotel is very noisy, with what sounds like people tap dancing all night. The rooms are really old and need modernising, and the Wi-Fi cuts out every five minutes. When I told the staff, they just gave me the number for their internet supplier.
