We stayed three nights at OKKO in Nantes in early January, and would definitely return. The room was kept very clean and the beds were comfortable. Reception staff were efficient and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the tasty, healthy breakfasts in Le Club. The bathroom layout was a little odd: to get to the toilet and sink, you have to walk through the shower stall.

There’s a pleasant seating area with complimentary drinks and snacks, including a few gluten-free choices. Breakfast costs extra but was decent, and the air-conditioned rooms have comfortable beds. The bathroom layout is baffling: you have to walk through the shower to reach the toilet. Who designed that? The hotel itself is nice and well located.

The lounge was a real plus, with snacks and drinks available, including little biscuits, cakes and juices. Breakfast offered a great choice: cheese and meats, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, smoked salmon and crepes. Staff were helpful, and the hotel is in a good location. This was my second stay at an Okko hotel, and I’d definitely stay here again. The room had the essentials, but no teabags. The bed was comfy enough and the air conditioning was okay. The gym is small, with cardio equipment and free weights. One downside is the shower area: you have to walk through it to reach the toilet, which isn’t great just after having a shower.

The location is very good, and parking for a car costs 20 per day. The bathroom setup can be awkward: after someone showers, the path to the toilet gets slippery. Also, if the shower door is left open, it can hit the glass entry door.

Very central, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us a map and pointed out Nantes highlights, including how to get to different places. Our room was small but cosy and comfortable for two, with a very clean, tidy feel and a really comfortable bed and pillows.
