Our Airbnb fell through at the last minute, so we needed somewhere convenient and well-priced. This worked out really well. The staff were friendly and funny, the room was clean, and even the sheets were ironed. The showers, toilets, and hallways were very clean too, and the hot water worked perfectly. Breakfast was €3.50 and had a good choice of coffee and tea, bread, and spreads, enough to get the day started. No eggs, but who needs eggs?

The air conditioning in the room didn't work, and there was a strong smell of cleaning product. The bed was missing linen. When I spoke to the night security person, they bluntly told me nothing could be done.

We'd booked six months ahead, but the owner had changed and our reservation had disappeared. After driving 13 hours, finding out we had nowhere to sleep was awful. Thank goodness for the lovely people at campanile. This place deserves zero stars, though I had to give it one.

I called the number they provided and later saw on my phone bill that it costs €3 per minute. The guy on the phone spent 22 minutes checking whether one room was available, which came to €72. I think this is a scam. If you can book another hotel, I really recommend doing that. SCAM.

The rooms were okay, but the toilets and showers were very dirty. Given the situation we're in, staff should be checking them often. It would also be nice to have reception staff who know the area.
