We'd booked by email and were caught off guard by a few things. We ate in the village, while our sleeping rooms were a distance away, just as the map showed. The staff were excellent and very helpful, but the half-board charge came to 157.60 euros. Since we were walking and paid by card, it was roughly twice what we'd seen and expected. We couldn't really challenge it because we don't speak French.

Dinner at Le Tour d'Argent is perfect. I love staying here, as usual, and it's always excellent.

The pain au chocolat was honestly the best, though the place itself felt depressing.

Our daughter was especially well looked after, and Virginie did everything we could have hoped for. We were given a very warm welcome for our family's half-board stay. The room was comfortable, with a bit of a retro look. Breakfast featured local cheeses, cured meats, cakes, and other products. Dinner in Nasbinal was huge and varied, and the short walk back gave us a chance to start digesting.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks. The rooms were bright, roomy, clean, and nicely made up, with excellent beds. Breakfast was generous and delicious, just the thing before a long hike. The hotel is a little outside the village and main hiking area, and the restaurant is a five-minute walk into the village. We ate very well there and got a warm welcome from the staff and the owner, who's attentive and a real bon vivant.
