We stayed for four nights in April as a family of five, and the first thing we loved was the house itself. It has two floors and could easily fit 8-10 people, maybe more. Everything was provided, from the renovated bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen to several kinds of pasta and spices for making dinner. The kids loved the house and yard. It was too cold for us to use the outdoor furniture, but it was there along with a BBQ, and guests can also use two bikes. Isabelle Robert was a wonderful host and was always available when we needed help. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, yet only a 15-20 minute walk, or a 7-minute drive, from the city centre and its many restaurants. Most Loire Valley sights and chateaus are about an hour's drive away. We would happily stay again if we return to the area, and recommend it to our friends. Thank you, Isabelle, for a great stay!

The house is close to Amboise and right in the Loire Valley château region, so it's a great base for exploring. The owners' warm welcome and the lovely house make it easy to settle in and feel comfortable, whether you're inside, on the terrace, or out in the garden. I highly recommend this place.

We've rented this holiday home every year to accommodate our interns. The cottage is spacious and welcoming, tastefully decorated, and has all the modern comforts. It's just a short walk from the Amboise bridge. Isabelle and Alain are such welcoming hosts, hard to imagine finding warmer ones.

I've stayed at Lysalin twice, each time for a week during theater workshops, and both times I found it hard to leave. The house feels like home, and the different spaces inside and out make it easy to relax. Amboise is a 15-20 minute walk away. Alain and Isabelle are so warm, hospitable, and friendly. You come for the region, then return for the house and its hosts! Thanks, Isabelle and Alain. It was a pleasure again, and I'm booking my room for next year.
