Hameau des Grès

We stayed in cottage Iris, which is in a beautiful setting and tastefully decorated. The staff were friendly and did their best to make our stay pleasant. There are plenty of things to see within a 30-minute drive, and it takes six minutes to reach the bakery and eight to get to a supermarket. The shower head leaks and needs replacing. The towels should be replaced too, as some are falling apart or have glitter stains.

I wish I could give zero stars. I booked on February 12, 2023, and Booking.com confirmed it that same day for August 19, 2023. Later, the owner emailed me saying the request didn't meet her requirements because she doesn't accept one-night stays and requires at least two nights. She urged me to cancel if I couldn't book two nights. Neither the Booking.com listing nor the owner's website mentioned this rule. She explained over the phone that those were her conditions and there was nothing else to do, even though I was only told at the last minute. This feels like an unfair business practice. Absolutely avoid this place. There's no business sense here.
