We arrived after traveling back from the Alps toward the UK, and the pool was a nice way to unwind. The room had plenty of space, a big bed, and a really nice shower. Our host was warm and welcoming, and breakfast the next morning was lovely. The location also worked perfectly for catching the Eurotunnel the following day.

It felt like being at home, and honestly, I think it beats any hotel, whatever star rating it gives itself. The service was wonderful, and the rooms were spacious and spotless. Little touches like a kettle for making tea made a difference, and the shower was glorious. Anyone thinking of opening a B&B should spend a night here to see how it's done.
