The welcome from Gladys really sets the tone. She’s warm and open, full of stories, and has plenty of ideas for supper. The rooms are huge, with tasteful decor and lighting, and there’s a chic heated pool too. Breakfast alone would make the stay worthwhile: fresh yogurt, sheep’s milk cheese, local ancient-grain bread, croissants, honey, and homemade mandarin and berry jams. A lovely place to read and recharge, whether you’re touring the Normandy beaches, Etretat or Dieppe, or just taking a long weekend. I’d gladly come back.

Gladys, thank you for having the fireplace already crackling when we came back at the end of the day. You’re attentive, thoughtful, careful, and watchful. The setting is pleasant and made for resting, with wonderful walks close by. Please don’t change a thing.

Gladys is a wonderful host, and the house is beautifully decorated and so well cared for. Her breakfast is a real treat. It’s an enchanting place for a timeless stay, with the sea and picturesque villages just a short walk away.
