The food was simple and made with good ingredients, especially those delicious tomatoes, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We were a group of 70 for the weekend and loved the restored farm hamlet tucked among meadows with Comtois and Vosges cows. The gîtes were comfortable and practical both indoors and out. John was kind, cheerful, helpful, and quick with the service. The only little drawback was how noisy the dining room got with such a large group. Thanks again for everything!

The food was excellent, and there was plenty of it. We rented the whole property, including the gîtes and guest rooms, for the weekend, with Friday's catered meal, Saturday's celebration dinner, and breakfasts all included. Our guests were delighted with the setting, the rooms, and the meals. The owner was charming and helpful, and accommodated our requests so we could be completely satisfied. We'll remember this celebration for a long time. Thank you so much!

After a year of hunting dinners, I found the schedule inflexible because it depended on the owner's children's school hours. In winter that cuts into the length of the hunting days. The meals were mediocre and the wine didn't taste like much. If you have another option for hunting meals, go elsewhere. There is a magnificent fireplace with a wood fire, but it only warms the guests sitting right in front of it. The dining room is large but dark, with dated decor. On the plus side, there's a big car park set back from the road, which is safer for children and dogs.
