The location is handy for the train station, and the room was nice for three people with a large bathroom. The shower kept switching from hot to cold for no reason, and the staff could have been more professional.

The room had a nice view, and the hotel is about 5-7 minutes downhill from the train station. That’s pretty much where the positives end. The shower was tiny and the water swung from scalding hot to freezing cold. When the elevator broke one evening, staff didn’t seem to care that some guests couldn’t manage the stairs. The lobby staff could use some customer service training. The two guys on duty at night seemed more interested in vaping outside than helping us. They wouldn’t order us a taxi, and at 5am the lobby was dark because the lights were off. I don’t know if this is family run, but it gives that impression. A bit of professionalism would go a long way.

The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable, with a reasonable amount of space for the price. There weren’t many extras, though: no kettle or drinks, no toothbrush, and just a shampoo and shower gel combo for toiletries. The location is a big plus, only a few minutes from the train station and close to the main promenade down to the beach. Recommended!

The carpet could definitely use a deep clean, but the place feels cozy and is right in the heart of nice. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help. I can only recommend it.

Getting around on foot was easy, with both the train station and the city centre and beach within walking distance. There are good breakfast spots nearby too. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a fully renovated bathroom and a rain shower. Everything was clean, and the woman at reception and both of the men were helpful. I only have good things to say about my stay.
