There was useful bag storage, and the showers had both hot and cold water. The rooms were good, and the kitchen was solidly equipped. The receptionist was incredibly nice and let me check in early, among other things. Excellent hostel, I'd stay here again.

My partner and I were put in an overbooked shared room. When we went downstairs to sort it out, the response was basically, “work it out yourselves” and kick the person out of her bed. There was no apology or concern for anyone involved. We couldn't bring ourselves to make the other pair leave, so the two of us shared one tiny, dirty bed, despite paying for two. The price might catch the eye of budget travellers, and I understand a cheap hostel may not be spotless, but here you don't even get what you paid for. Avoid this one.

My stay at this hostel was amazing, and the kindness continued after I left. I accidentally forgot my jacket, and a staff member went out of their way to help return it. They printed the shipping label I sent and took the package to the post office themselves. I really appreciated that kind of effort.

The location was a big plus, just a few steps from the train station, and the AC worked well in hot July. My roommates in the four person female dorm were quiet and courteous. The beds were clean and simple, with plenty of space beneath the bunks for belongings and room for a suitcase. I could also leave my luggage there before check-in, which helped. There’s a kitchen and dining space, a lounge, and lockers. I borrowed a locker lock from a worker in exchange for 10€, but I had no cash, so he kept my passport until I could get some. He hadn’t told the next person covering reception, which caused confusion when I asked for my passport back. Eventually I explained what had happened and got it back. There was black mold on the ceiling tiles above the shower, and the restroom needs a deep clean. I’d stay again if I had to, but I’d much rather book a hotel.
