Castel Enchanté

The property’s tucked-away location added to its charm, and buses, trains, and Uber are nearby if you don’t have your own transport. We spent three nights here and would happily stay again. The rooms were just as described, authentic, spacious, and well equipped. Breakfast was superb, and Alberto was a terrific host, full of useful information and always ready to help. Thank you, Alberto. I’d highly recommend the place.

Getting into the city was easy enough by Uber, around 10 Euro each way. Since I didn’t fancy driving through an unfamiliar town, the location suited us well. The route up to the hotel takes a little getting used to, though. The sharp left off the main road needs a two-point turn, then it’s straightforward. Alberto was the standout host. He checked in about our plans and helped adjust our itinerary with his local tips. He answered all our questions, from dinner and beaches to parking and the prettiest drive to Monaco. One restaurant suggestion was especially good, an Italian place about a 25-minute walk away that locals like. Our room was lovely, with its own balcony, a huge bed, and a modern bathroom. Breakfast was another highlight. Alberto went out of his way to follow safety guidelines, bringing fresh coffee, bread, and pastries to each guest at their table. And the resident dog is a gentle giant, an absolute beauty.

Alberto was so helpful, and I loved the house. I had a fantastic week at the Castel. Great breakfast, great host, great place!

The Castel is gorgeous, and staying there felt like being part of the family. Each morning we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace with a view. Alberto puts a lot into everything, shares tips for your trip, and sorts out any problem straight away. We spent one week there and it was just „Nice“. A perfect base for exploring the Cote de Azure by car.
