Greet Hotel Nice Aéroport Promenade des Anglais

We were in Nice for a week with friends for the Carnaval de Nice and had a first-class stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. Special thanks to Mbaye and JP for sorting out our questions and problems.

The location was the one good thing: close to the airport and tram stop. The room looked clean, which is the only reason I'm giving it more than one star. We were assigned an accessible room even though neither of us needed one. The shower had no screen at all, so the toilet got soaked. We had to ask for extra towels to make a makeshift barrier, and the way they responded made me think this was deliberate. I can guess why. The bedroom was tiny, with no wardrobe or even a place to put clothes. There was no hair dryer, which has never happened to me before. There are only two elevators and no stairs access to the room floors, so waits can be long. We were only there to sleep while visiting Nice, thankfully, because otherwise the hotel wouldn't be worth it. I wouldn't recommend it or choose it again. P.S. To the owner: that's not what I booked, and I'm attaching a screenshot of my reservation.

The room was small, but clean, and I slept without hearing any shouting or other noise at night. I also didn’t see anything like the stories about trouble at the entrance or people being drugged. The staff were really kind and helpful, and for the price the hotel is very good. It’s about two minutes from the tram stop, then roughly 20 minutes into the city. There’s no hairdryer in the room, though.

The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower had great pressure and responded perfectly to temperature changes. The toilet was fine too, though cramped, and it has a door for privacy. Staff I met were polite and spoke French and English. You can choose daily housekeeping for bed-making and fresh towels, or hang the sign on your door for more privacy. For the price, this was a very good deal, and the cheapest double room with a private bathroom I could find in Nice. There were two snags: someone was already in the room when I got the key, but that was sorted right away. Also, one lift had fresh blood on the floor, which was creepy. It had been cleaned by the time I returned.
