The price for both the stay and breakfast was great value, and I’d gladly come back. Little extras like slippers in the room and round-the-clock access to top-shelf tea, coffee, and bottled water made a real difference. Breakfast was delicious and focused more on quality than on sheer quantity or variety, though there was something for every taste. The breakfast staff member was always smiling and attentive. I booked a single room for a long weekend in Nice, but “single” was just its name. It was bigger and more comfortable than I’d expect from that room type, so solo travelers should take note. The bed was large, and the room was exceptionally clean, quiet, well cared for, and made up daily, even though I didn’t really need that. The staff were polite and helpful. Nothing in the hotel seemed old or overlooked.

My three nights at Hotel 66 left me very satisfied, and I felt welcome and safe on my first trip to Nice. Thanks especially to Maurice, who was professional, kind, and helpful with my questions. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a safe for valuables, and daily cleaning unless you hang the do-not-disturb sign. They provided hand soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, a hair dryer, slippers, and a laundry bag. As a woman, I was surprised and pleased to find conditioner, and all the soaps smelled lovely. The location is convenient, less than a ten-minute walk from the tram and train stations, with pharmacies and restaurants nearby. Most places are walkable, or you can take the tram after buying and validating a ticket. I also really appreciated being able to leave my luggage after checkout and collect it later, along with the unlimited coffee and drinking water for guests. My only downside was the lack of a kettle and refrigerator in the room. It was a bit inconvenient to get hot water from the breakfast dining area.

Every staff member we dealt with was kind, from check-in and checkout to helping store our luggage. They even found a ring I’d left behind in the room, which was so nice of them. The room was clean and comfortable, and they provided slippers. Excellent experience! ❤️

We spent four nights here in January, and the clean rooms were kept to a high standard. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was lovely, and unlimited tea and coffee were available. It’s especially convenient for day trips because the train station is so close. There’s a tram stop nearby too, with service to the beach and old town. Definitely recommend.
