ibis Nice Centre Gare

If you want somewhere clean and comfortable on a budget, this is a good option. The rooms look a bit old, and the toilets are tiny, but for the price they’re okay. There’s also a pool. The hotel is really close to the train station, so it’s worth taking the train to explore other seaside spots, like mala ;) The lobby is nicely decorated, and the receptionists were sweet and explained everything we needed to know. There’s foosball, a bar, a vending machine for snacks, and a dispenser with free hot and cold water. Getting here is easy: leave the station, turn right, walk a few metres, then take the escalator, and you’ll be at the hotel in five minutes.

You can also catch live match broadcasts in the lobby bar. It’s such a comfortable spot, with great service. The bartender Khalil is always welcoming, very polite and friendly, and makes delicious cocktails and pizza. The coolest hotel lobby bar!

We were a few minutes late for breakfast, but the staff still opened the kitchen for us. They were so kind, helped accommodate our requests, and gave us lots of options. Sandrine was lovely and prepared us a very nice breakfast with plenty to choose from.

The staff were clean? and the price. The location isn’t anything special, but being near the train station and tram makes it easy to get around. The hotel has an indoor bar and another one by the pool, good amenities, a nice pool area for summer, and a fairly spacious room. Breakfast was fine, too.
