The room had an overpowering mold smell, a very loud generator right outside the window, and a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly. Staff weren’t helpful, and we were given just one large blanket for the bed with no way to get another. Worst of all, there were bedbugs everywhere. There were obvious attempts to deal with them, including completely dried-out double-sided tape on the bed legs, but bedbug marks were still all over the wall, and they will eat you alive at night. We chose this because it was the cheapest option in the area we wanted. Never again. Spend more for a better hotel. There’s no right price for this.

I arrived to check in and was left stranded, with no receptionist or other staff available and no communication or help. A hotel should at least have someone at the front desk to assist guests, but this place had nobody. There were no lockers or luggage storage either, so I had to carry my bags around the city for hours, until 5 p.m. It felt disorganized, unprofessional, and disrespectful. The hotel failed at the most basic responsibility of having staff available to help. I’d strongly advise people to avoid it unless they’re happy being ignored and inconvenienced.

I stayed here two years ago and found bedbugs all over. Reading the comments now, it seems they still have them. They know about the issue but keep putting people at risk. The problem was so bad that they were in the walls. I spent the night checking every item I had to make sure I wouldn’t carry bedbugs with me. I was in the hallway as people returned to the hostel, telling them to check, and some of them found bugs. You don’t want to bring bedbugs home or to your next destination. They’re hard to get rid of, and having the same problem after more than two years is a health hazard.

For the price, the room was fine and met my expectations. I couldn’t find the air conditioner remote, but otherwise it was alright for a night or two.
