Breakfast was lovely every morning, and Yann really knows the best food combinations, so ask him if you get the chance. We only wish our visit had been longer. The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy, with kind and generous staff, especially Yann. We hadn’t planned on going to Eze, but we trusted his recommendation and were so glad we changed our minds. The amenities smelled amazing, and our double room was surprisingly spacious compared with other European hotels we’ve stayed in. I forgot to take room photos, just got one of the pizza, haha. The memories will stay with us.

It was such a relief to have a clean, spacious room after the cramped, sometimes musty places we’d stayed in Paris, Lyon, and Strasbourg, some of which cost more. There was also plenty of counter space in the bathroom. The staff were friendly, pleasant, and efficient. Getting around was easy too, with the train station about three minutes away on foot and most of Nice’s main sights a short walk from the hotel. One of my best hotel stays.

The marble bathroom was gorgeous, and the rooms were lovely too. We arrived at 1 a.m., but the front desk staff were welcoming and handled the late check-in without a hitch. On our last day, they even left pastries outside the room. Such a great weekend here.

We got no sleep at all. The walls were so thin that the woman next door could be heard screaming, crying, and throwing things all night. It sounded like a war zone, or some kind of exorcism. The police didn’t show up until 7 a.m., and our whole stay in Nice was ruined. The hotel seems to attract some very questionable guests.

The staff made us feel welcome right away and seemed genuinely keen to help. Their restaurant suggestions were excellent, and the bar had a nice selection. We loved the room, and the pastry left on the door handle for breakfast was such a thoughtful touch. It was easy to explore old Nice on foot from here, and they arranged for a taxi to be waiting when it was time to leave. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed for the price.
