I saw the bouncer disrespecting and insulting people while refusing them entry for no reason that I could see. The staff and bouncer were extremely rude, aggressive, and creepy. This was the worst place in Nice and on the Côte d’Azur that I’ve encountered. Reviews from what seems like 80 to 90% of visitors describe it as unsafe and aggressive, and the replies to reviewers appear to threaten legal action over honest criticism. To the staff and owner: if you threaten me, I’ll take legal action, because I have the means to do so. Don’t make the mistake of going here. Never go to this terrible place.

A few minutes later, two white men were let in. When I asked why they could enter and I couldn’t, the short, bald bouncer with a black beard told me, in broken English, that it was his job and his choice. He had looked at me and said only couples were allowed in. I’ve lived in Dubai for 31 years. I have medium brown skin and Indian looks, and I think I’m presentable. I’ve been to some of the fanciest bars and clubs around the world, so I don’t think my clothes were the issue: a plain white T-shirt, light grey jeans, and black Nike Air Max. I’ve been refused entry in Europe because of my skin color before, so this wasn’t a surprise. Afterward, I went to the nearby Bull Dog, about a 5-7 minute walk away. Entry was EUR 20 for two drinks, the music was good, and although the dance floor was small, I still had a good time.

I paid €10 to get in, and the drinks were very expensive. With so many men there, I didn’t feel safe as a woman. There were no women’s toilets, only one disabled stall, and it was appallingly dirty, with various bodily fluids and substances on the floor. I’d avoid this place, especially if you’re a small group of girls.

Security and the employees behaved horribly. We were turned away because we were white. Worst club experience I’ve ever had. Don’t visit.
