Nice Pam Hotel

The location is good and the hotel itself is nice, but service matters a lot to me. The reception staff were rude, and tried to explain simple things from a distance, which caused some really confusing misunderstandings. They also seemed to shame me over something. For that, I’d give the whole hotel a low rating. I can’t recommend it.

The hotel has some nice touches, including wooden key cards, refillable water stations on every floor, and recycling bins in the rooms. There’s also a cocktail bar and outdoor seating. We found the location ideal: Place du Pin, with its bars and cafes, is a five-minute walk, the train station is ten minutes away, and you can reach the port in ten minutes to catch a tram to the airport. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the staff were friendly. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip to Nice.

The decor was STUNNING, and we had four wonderful nights here. The place is air conditioned, and they offer free refillable water bottles. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the cocktails were really good. It’s easy to walk to both the old town and the center square. All good all around!

The hotel looks stylish and is well located, but the service, especially in the mornings, left a very bad impression. We were a large group with five rooms for four nights, and breakfast was the same each day. At 9 a.m. there were barely any clean plates, food wasn’t being replenished, and used dishes stayed on the tables. Staff were unfriendly when asked to clear them, and even refused to make a table available. An employee said we could reserve tables, but none were set aside the next morning. The manager then said reservations weren’t possible and the employee hadn’t known that. We also couldn’t order an omelet, which we expected at a four-star hotel. Our room was extremely hot, so we had to keep the AC on. It made strange noises at night, like something was broken. We visited in October, when it wasn’t hot outside, and despite reporting the problem several times, nothing was done. The hotel is quite nice overall, but the rudeness of the staff, particularly the morning team, really affected the trip. In my opinion, the manager needs to pay more attention to hiring or they’ll lose customers sooner or later.
