Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice

Vlad made my stay more enjoyable with his friendly, caring approach. From our first interaction he was warm and welcoming, and he went out of his way to help with a smile. He was attentive and efficient, and his professionalism and dedication to making guests feel comfortable really stood out. I appreciate his excellent service. He’s a real asset to the team! ⭐️

The sea view from this very nice hotel is beautiful, and a bus or tram gets you to Nice city center in just a few minutes. The rooftop pool and sauna in summertime are a great option. At breakfast, there wasn't enough staff, and the waiters struggled when many guests arrived at once. It would also be nice to have something like an omelet available to order. As a VIP member, I didn't feel I was treated as I should have been when checking in.

Pascal at the front desk was superb, the staff were incredible, and dinner at the restaurant last night was excellent. The hotel is right on the waterfront, with a nice gym too. If you want more restaurant options nearby, though, you’ll have to walk. On my first night, the electricity was shut off in the middle of the night for maintenance, and no one had mentioned it when I checked in. I’m sure this doesn’t happen often, but they should have told me when I booked or at least at check-in. I could have planned ahead instead of rushing to charge my insulin pump and hoping it wouldn’t run out of power.

The staff are friendly, the food and service are great, and the location is excellent. I’d recommend staying here, with a few things to keep in mind. In January there was only a fan in the room, no air conditioning, so I opened the patio door to cool it down and enjoy the wonderful view. That brought a different problem: street noise and motorcycles revving all night kept me awake. The sheets felt coarse, and the pillows were flat and crunchy. If noise and low-thread count bedding don’t bother you, this is a GREAT place to stay! 😝
