Next time, we’d book a privilege room instead of a standard one. The staff at reception and in the breakfast restaurant were very friendly and service oriented. The lobby and bar were tidy and nicely decorated, and the garden pool was clean and beautiful. The hotel provided large pool towels, and the hallways to the rooms looked good.

The balcony had a lovely view, though the hotel is so close to the street that the noise made it hard to enjoy. It was a small balcony shared with the next room, with a partition between us. The bed was so comfortable I slept like a baby, and the room was good. I also noticed they used Nuxe products. Room service was prompt, and the Thai salad was a very generous size. The pool area was relaxing, with a nice view of the hills. We were 15 minutes from the airport by Uber, with a few restaurants nearby and a Boulangerie too. The air train is one block away. This hotel was a pleasant surprise.

The evening meal at the restaurant was amazing and worth the money, and there’s a large car park behind the hotel that worked perfectly for my large vehicle. My room was great, the hotel was spotless, and the service was phenomenal. The staff were very gracious with me as a non-French speaker. I had a lovely stay, including a small upgrade at no charge. Highly recommended.

The hotel is handy for exploring Nice, about a 10-minute train ride or 30 minutes by tram into town. We stayed five days at the Sheraton Nice and booked two rooms. My Platinum status got one room upgraded, and the overall stay was good, though there were gaps in customer service. The front desk didn’t answer through the Marriott app chat or the in-room phone. Someone replied to my chat after four hours, and only after I’d gone downstairs to speak to someone. I only ever saw one person working, despite there being three desks. Maybe that was because it was winter and low season. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, but it was the same every day. The rooms were spacious, though the air felt stuffy, perhaps because the building is insulated too well. The parking garage was always flooded with big puddles, so we had to jump over them to keep our shoes dry.
