The service is what earns my five stars. The cleaning lady did a great job, and the room was cleaned every day, which was lovely. The breakfast was quite limited at first, but we got used to it. The bakery and crepes were great. You can work or spend time in the dining area after breakfast, and leave your luggage at the hotel if needed. It wasn’t the best hotel from the first minute. The rooms need a deeper clean, and the TV needs an upgrade since it doesn’t have smart options like YouTube or Netflix.

A useful extra was that they lent us an iron when we needed one. We could also leave our bags if we arrived before check-in or were leaving later in the day. There’s a pleasant common area for sitting during the day, including the breakfast room where you can relax over coffee. The breakfast was very good and served in a nice room overlooking the street, rather than in a basement like at many hotels. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and there was always someone at reception. Our room was extremely clean and was cleaned every day, which we appreciated. The location worked well for us: about 10 minutes to the metro or tram station, 15 minutes to the city center, and only four minutes to the train station. We had a wonderful stay, were satisfied with everything, and would definitely recommend it.

Good value for money, with comfortable beds, a quiet area, a nice lobby, and very friendly service. We appreciated the free good coffee, Kusmi Tea, and both sparkling and still water. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Promenade des Anglais. The only tricky part was parking, which was a bit expensive across the street. The bathroom tiles weren’t very clean and could use some refurbishment.

We booked a triple room at Hotel So’Co for seven days and six nights, and it exceeded what we expected. There was plenty of room for three large suitcases, with space left to move around, plus a fridge and more than enough storage. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was also roomy and spotless, and having a bathtub was a big plus. Everything felt comfortable and well maintained. The location made getting around easy: about five minutes on foot to Nice-Ville train station and 10 minutes to the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. For the affordable price and facilities, it was an excellent stay. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Nice.
