Studio Nice Etoile

I was shocked by the state of the room and bathroom. It was the worst place I've ever stayed, and the website photos don't look anything like it. I can't recommend this place. Be very careful about booking.

The rooms looked nothing like the photos online. Our first room was filthy, with broken doors, a wet towel folded up on arrival, and dead bugs. We changed rooms once because the bathroom door was broken, but the new room wasn't any better. There were crawling bugs, possibly beetles, definitely not mosquitoes. We didn't complain about the towel, so it wasn't changed. We didn't make more complaints after the room move and just put up with it. The hotel's response to my review is a complete lie. I'm from America, and of course I had the AC blasting and all the windows closed as soon as I arrived. Do not recommend.

No shampoo or light in the bathroom. There's no lift either, so I had to climb the stairs to the third floor. Welcome to Nice.

The staff were very nice, and my room was ready when I arrived at 11am, three hours before check-in. Room 10 on the first floor was clean, though basic and small, and the walls seemed thin. The shower was great, with good pressure, hot water, and a clean, sturdy shower head. The bed was comfortable enough and the AC worked well. It's not right by the beach or the gare, but neither is too far away.
