The staff were especially welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed having breakfast in the lovely garden, and there was a decent range of things to choose from. The hotel is well placed for the beach and nearby amenities. Our city-side standard room had a comfortable bed and a fabulous bathroom, and was well appointed.

We spent five wonderful days here with my wife. The garden was a lovely place to unwind after exploring Nice, and the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. La Villa Victoria is charming and peaceful, with a great spot close to the main attractions and the Promenade des Anglais. We paid extra for the private parking on site, which was very convenient. It was a memorable stay, and we'd definitely return on another trip to Nice. Highly recommended!

The room was really comfortable and spacious, spotlessly clean, with a well-appointed bathroom. The weather meant the courtyard was closed, though it would be a lovely spot for drinks or breakfast. Hotel Victoria is on a quiet street but still very central. After a dreadful experience at Boutique Hotel Nice Cote d’azur, where we were so disappointed that we left, my son found this hotel for us. Alexandre and Akim welcomed us warmly and helped with parking and check-in, and offered welcome drinks. Thank you for a lovely stay 🙏

The only real advantage was that the beach was about a 10-minute walk away. Otherwise, our five-night stay was disappointing, and this doesn't feel like a four-star hotel. We booked a standard city view room, but it had chipped paint, scuffed baseboards, creaking doors and bed, and loose toilet paper and hair dryer holders. There were scuffs in the sink and shower floor, and with the carpet, the room didn't feel clean. There was no hair conditioner, iron, or ironing board. Breakfast was average and much the same each day. I had to ask the young man working there to bring more bread and jam after they ran out, and he wasn't attentive about replenishing items. Service felt cold and dry. Some evening staff were nice, but the female workers' replies came across as condescending. The hotel tainted our stay in Nice. I wish I'd used the option to cancel up to 24 hours beforehand. After our first night I called to ask about cancelling the rest of the stay, but was told there'd be no refund because the director was on vacation. When I asked whether someone was covering for her, they said no. I'm still not sure how a four-star hotel can have no covering manager or director.
