The shuttle runs free every 15 minutes, so the awful hill up to the hostel didn’t end up being a problem. The tram ride into town and to the central station takes just 10 minutes. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and having everyone speak English was a relief after visiting other places in France. There’s a great atmosphere, with good drinks at reasonable prices in the bar. Food options, snacks, and coffee are available around the clock. We didn’t get to try the activities, but they sounded great, and we’d like to come back for some. Definitely recommend this hostel to others!

What stood out was how much the staff cared about making our whole time in Nice go well, not just the hostel stay. Their English was perfect, with many Australians and UK people working there. The free shuttle, internet, and computers were all included. There were 8 public computers when I was there. Breakfast, maps, and vacation suggestions were free too, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

On my Euro tour, this may have been the best hostel for its facilities, appearance, and sociable feel. The Chapel is huge and pretty, with a buzzing atmosphere and a great cheap bar. Food was good and reasonably priced, though the wait could be long. There were loads of internet computers, and they organise activities like scuba-diving and canyoning. Getting into town is a pain because it’s quite far, especially once trams stop at 1:30am. I hear the Beach branch is just as good.
