Annie went out of her way to make our honeymoon stay memorable. When my husband and I were in Nice, she was one of the best people I’ve met in customer service, and she is still one of the best to this day. It was a one-woman show while we were there, but she did far more than expected. Every morning she went to the market for fresh meat, cheese, marmalade, and bread for her guests. She’d even pick a different marmalade for my husband to try each day. She spoke some Spanish, Italian, and English, as well as her native French. When we took a trip to Venice in the middle of our stay, she kept our bags locked up so we could travel light. The rooms weren’t perfect. The showers flooded, and there was plenty of work to do, but Annie made the stay special. She had two beloved dogs at the time.

Nice place.

My 18 days at Villa Saphir were a horrible experience. It was in a filthy, badly run-down state, including the property and the owner. The first few days were pleasant, but as the end of my stay got closer, the owner became more unpleasant, spiteful, and even disrespectful. The bathrooms were deplorable and there was a nauseating smell. I was woken at 7 am by a barking dog. There were piles of laundry that looked over a month old all around the house, like an Auchan supermarket. No breakfast was included, and the Wi-Fi was clearly inadequate. The price was exorbitant for what was offered. I’ve attached photos to back up what I’m saying. I strongly advise against spending a holiday at this villa, if it even deserves to be called one. A very bad experience.

The place was dirty, with cockroaches, and dogs barking incessantly from 7am and whenever the gate opened. One even came to bite me, and the owner did nothing. I don’t recommend it at all.

I really don’t recommend this woman. She’s extremely unpleasant and hypocritical, and she meddles in things that aren’t her business. She also makes things up and lies. Good luck to any couples staying in the future. Men are looked down on.
