The owner waited up until 11 pm to welcome us properly, which we really appreciated. The hotel was exceptional, and the town was lovely. There's also a wine shop, which I'd recommend, and a restaurant. The restaurant was closed when we arrived, and we understand it's run by different people from the hotel. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The old hotel is well maintained and sits in a beautiful village, with parking available. The rooms vary in size, and we got the smallest one. It was clean and quaint, and we really enjoyed our stay. One downside was the noise from some motorcycles passing through the village.

The accommodation felt quite dated, much like it was 20 years ago, and breakfast had very little to choose from.
