The apartment is brand new and has all the equipment for a longer stay, with plenty of public parking nearby. It’s above the restaurant in a very characteristic little village, yet conveniently close to the big cities. The restaurant doesn’t serve breakfast, but there’s a bakery just a two-minute drive away.

The apartment was kept in very good shape, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. We stayed there for one night in the four-person apartment while visiting the Strasbourg Christmas Market, about 20 minutes away. Before we left, they even gave us a lovely treat at their restaurant. The one-bedroom apartment on the top floor has lovely, spacious rooms and a terrace. Everything was great.

We slept so well here. I usually have trouble sleeping anywhere but my own bed, but the bedding was so comfortable that I slept right through until the alarm. The gîte itself was spacious, spotless, beautifully decorated, and well equipped, with an entrance hall, kitchen, living and dining room, four double beds, and two bathrooms with toilets. On arrival night, we ate at their restaurant, Texas. My friend’s wood-fired pizza was delicious, and my homemade Munster cheese tarte flambée from the wood-fired oven was a real treat. We had a lovely fruity Pinot Blanc with it. Breakfast the next day was delicious and generous, and very reasonably priced. The owners were very pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. I’ll definitely come back to this gîte when I’m next in Strasbourg, and I highly recommend it.
