Margaret - Hôtel Chouleur

The family suite was wonderfully spacious, with thoughtful, elegant design throughout. The standout was the stunning bathroom alongside the connecting balcony. That combination made the suite feel unforgettable. Hôtel Margaret has a timeless character that gives you the feeling of stepping into another era as soon as you enter. It's truly one of the most luxurious hotels I've stayed in. I'd happily return to Nîmes just to experience it again, and highly recommend it to anyone after luxury with character.

The staff seemed stretched thin, and the lack of attention showed. They didn't offer the warmth or professional courtesy I'd expect from a five-star property. Even a €4 espresso came without the usual little sweet, which felt like an oversight. Management needs to invest in staffing and training to meet the standard guests are paying for.

The rooms were spacious, and the service was exceptional. It was the best hotel stay I've ever had, and I’d travel back to France just to spend a few nights here again.

Room 5 was quiet, spotless, and beautiful, with lovely Fragonard amenities. We spent six nights here, right in the center of Nimes and close to everything we wanted. The staff were polite and very helpful. Definitely worth staying here when visiting Nimes.
